Job summary

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking two registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our pharmacy team based at Pilgrim Hospital Boston. Band 4-5, 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract. You will work across Dispensary, wards and Aseptic services, delivering high quality pharmaceutical care and ensuring accurate dispensing.

Travel between Trust sites may be required. You should have NVQ/BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science and be registered or able to register as a Pharmacy

Qualifications

• NVQ/BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent.
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician or eligible to register.
• Evidence of accuracy checking competency (or ability to work towards).

Responsibilities

• Based at Pilgrim Hospital Boston, provide Ward, Dispensary and Aseptic dispensing services.
• Maintain accuracy checking and high-quality pharmaceutical care for patients.
• Travel between sites within the Trust as required and participate in weekend/bank rotas.

Education

NVQ/BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent

Registered as a Pharmacy Technician (or able to register)
