Job summary

Mersey West Lancashire NHS Trust is seeking a Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join its developing pharmacy team serving Southport and Ormskirk Hospitals. You will contribute to inpatient, outpatient, and ward-based dispensing, stock control, aseptic preparation, medicine supply and staff development.

The role will be based at Southport District General or Ormskirk District General, with essential travel to all hospitals within the Trust and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level registration with the GPhC is required.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing for inpatient, out-patient and ward-based services.
• Labeling, stock rotation, storage and handling of dispensary queries.
