EQUANS is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for the Tameside General Hospital contract in Ashton-under-Lyne. The role is permanent full-time (37.5 hours) with alternating shifts.

You will perform planned preventative maintenance on lighting, water and heating services, plus reactive repairs to building fabric and services, liaising with hospital staff daily to ensure safe, compliant operation. You will support electrical, mechanical, plumbing and joinery teams and may undertake other tasks as

Qualifications

• Widespread maintenance experience in general environments.
• Experience in healthcare or hospital settings desirable.
• Ability to work with multiple trades and liaise with staff.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric and services.
• Perform HTM 04-01 Legionella and water hygiene checks.
• Support electrical, mechanical, plumbing and joinery tasks as required.
• Maintain service records and reports in line with HTM/QA requirements.
