Royal Voluntary Service operates hospital cafes, shops and trolleys, delivering friendly, efficient customer service in Sunderland Royal Hospital. You will work in a busy retail environment with volunteers and staff, handling orders, payments and till operations while maintaining clean, well-stocked outlets.

This part-time, permanent role requires a customer-focused attitude, flexibility for weekends, and a proactive approach to stock and display management within NHS-related retail sites.

Competenze

• Experience in a retail or cafe environment is advantageous.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexibility, including weekends and bank holidays.

Mansioni

• Provide friendly, helpful, and efficient service at all times.
• Welcome customers, inform about specials, take orders and payments.
• Operate the till and perform cash reconciliation as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
• Ensure stock and displays are replenished and stock rotated.
• Assist in daily running of hospital cafe/retail sites and work with volunteers.
