Royal Voluntary Service in Worcester is seeking a Retail Senior Customer Assistant to support hospital cafes, shops and trolleys. The role is part-time and permanent, offering a salary of £12.96 per hour.

You will work 30 hours per week across 5 days, including weekends, with opportunities for overtime during busy periods. You will manage customer service, till operations, stock replenishment and volunteer engagement, while upholding health and safety standards and supporting the Retail Service

Formación

• Provides friendly, helpful service to customers.
• Welcomes customers, explains specials, processes orders and payments.
• Operates till and performs cash reconciliation when required.
• Maintains cleanliness and adheres to Health, Safety and food hygiene standards.
• Replenishes stock and assists with ordering supplies as needed.
• Engages with volunteers, directing and supporting a positive volunteer experience.
• Supervises the site in the absence of management and supports KPI delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Provide friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times with product knowledge.
• Supervise a team to ensure peak trade and food preparation meets safety standards.
• Operate till and perform cash handling including opening/closing procedures.
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and complete regular stock checks.
• Engage with volunteers to improve the volunteer experience and maintain high spirits.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
