Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Sudbury, England, is seeking a Project Worker to support people experiencing homelessness and help them build independence. You will assess needs, update support plans, be the first point of contact, and collaborate with external partners to boost health, wellbeing and education opportunities.

The role offers flexible working, 30 hours per week (4 days), some weekend shifts, and a supportive, not-for-profit environment with generous benefits including leave,

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach
• Able to work well in a team and independently
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential
• Assess needs and update support plans
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries
• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity
• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment
