Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Haverhill is seeking a Project Worker to support people experiencing homelessness from The Limes, 12 Camps Road. The role is 26 hours a week across four days, with some weekend work, in a compassionate, community-focused team.

You will assess needs, update support plans, be the first point of contact, build respectful relationships, and work with partners to boost wellbeing and education.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries.
• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity.
• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment.
