Job summary

Sanctuary Group is hiring a Project Worker for The Limes in Haverhill. The role supports people experiencing homelessness, helping them build independence and access services, with a focus on dignity and choice.

Salary is £18,756 per year for 26 hours per week across four days, including some weekend work. You’ll join a compassionate team in a not-for-profit setting, with training, progression opportunities, and a commitment to wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries.
• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity.
• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment.
