Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Chelmsford is seeking a Project Worker to support people experiencing homelessness. You will assess needs, update support plans, and serve as the first point of contact for inquiries, building respectful relationships and coordinating with partners to improve health, wellbeing and prospects.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries.
• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity.
• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment.
