Sanctuary Group’s Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting a Project Worker for Coverdale, Essex. You’ll join a compassionate team helping people experiencing homelessness, with 37.5 hours per week at £14.57 per hour.

We’re a not-for-profit organisation that reinvests in people and services and values diversity and inclusion. Your duties include supporting adults who have experienced homelessness to build independence, assessing needs, updating support plans, being the first contact for queries,

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries.
• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity.
• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment.
