Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Sudbury, Suffolk is seeking a Project Worker to support people experiencing homelessness and help them build independence. You will assess needs, update plans, and be the first point of contact for queries, while building relationships that respect privacy and dignity.

The role involves 30 hours per week with some weekend shifts, and a supportive, not-for-profit environment with strong training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness.
• Strong team working and independent working ability.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Act as first point of contact for customer queries.
• Build relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity.
• Work with external partners to boost health, wellbeing, and education/employment.
