Job summary

Caritas Diocese of Salford is looking for Bank Support & Activities Workers to join our homeless services across Manchester. You will provide a friendly welcome, signpost residents, and help run activities and day-to-day tasks in our centres.

You will work to support residents, assist with building checks, answer calls, monitor CCTV, and respond to emergencies. Experience with homeless or vulnerable groups is essential; strong IT and admin skills and a collaborative approach are expected.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Spend time with residents in communal areas and cafe.
• Facilitate recreational activities (cooking, games, arts/crafts).
• Perform building checks and deal with emergencies.
• Answer telephone calls and monitor CCTV.
• Undertake minor domestic tasks.
