Job summary

Caritas Diocese of Salford is seeking a Project Worker to join Morning Star Hostel in Hulme to ensure a smooth-running service for the accommodation.

You will work as part of a team to provide a safe, high standard of supported housing, helping residents improve health, well-being and move toward independent living and employment. Experience with homelessness and strong IT/admin skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people that are homeless and may be vulnerable or disadvantaged.
• Experience in supported housing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and high standard of supported accommodation.
• Support residents to improve health, well-being and develop independent living skills.
• Assist residents to move into independent private rented tenancies.
• Support education and training to help residents move into employment.
• Work as part of a team with good IT and admin skills.
