Anderson Wright Consulting Ltd, on behalf of a well-established Glasgow Southside homecare provider, is recruiting a Homecare Coordinator to join its friendly team.

The role supports the Care Manager, coordinating daily care operations and staff rotas to maintain high standards of service. 37.5 hours weekly with £29,000 salary, plus on-call duties, a bonus scheme, pension and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have experience in care coordination, senior care or supervisory roles.
• SSSC registration and SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or current progress toward it.
• Experience coordinating care staff, rotas, and schedules in regulated care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily care operations, plans, staff rotas and schedules.
• Support care staff and maintain staffing cover.
• Monitor care quality and assist with service reviews.
• Assist with inspections, audits, and policy improvements.
• Maintain accurate records per GDPR and legislation.
• Assist with staff performance, training and compliance.
• Respond to issues and support service development.
• Participate in rotational on-call service with extra pay.

Homecare Coordinator – Glasgow (Southside)

£29,000 per annum + paid on-call duties + bonus + benefits

Full-time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent, family-run homecare provider with over 30 years of experience delivering high-quality care within the local community.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Homecare Coordinator to join its friendly and supportive team based in Glasgow Southside. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Care Coordinator, Senior Carer or Care Supervisor looking to develop their career within an established organisation.

The Role

Working closely with the Care Manager, you will help coordinate the day-to-day delivery of care services, manage staff rotas, maintain high standards of care and support the smooth running of the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily care operations, care plans, staff schedules and rotas.
• Support care staff and maintain appropriate staffing cover.
• Monitor care quality and assist with service reviews and evaluations.
• Support inspections, audits, compliance and improvements to policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with GDPR and relevant legislation.
• Assist with staff performance, training and compliance monitoring.
• Respond to operational issues and support the Care Manager with service development.
• Participate in a rotational on-call service, with additional payment.
• Work from the Glasgow Southside office, travelling as required.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

Applicants must have previous experience in care coordination, senior care or a supervisory role within a homecare or social care setting.

• Appropriate SSSC registration.
• SVQ Level 4 in Social Care, or currently working towards it.
• Experience coordinating care staff, rotas and schedules in a regulated care environment.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle – essential.
• Good understanding of care plans, compliance and quality standards.
• Relevant Health & Safety, First Aid, Food Hygiene and Moving & Handling training.
• Strong communication, written English and IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Able to commute to Glasgow Southside.

PVG Requirement

This role involves regulated work with protected adults. The successful applicant must hold or obtain the appropriate PVG Scheme membership before undertaking regulated duties, in line with Scottish requirements.
