Job summary

Barratt Developments PLC is seeking a Customer Care administrator to support the Head of Customer Care in resolving customer issues and coordinating department administration. You will handle inquiries, document interactions and help maintain service standards across sites and offices.

The role emphasises professional communication, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and adherence to company policies as part of a hybrid working setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional secretarial/administration role.
• Previous experience in a demanding and fast paced customer service environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office programs and keyboard skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Head of Customer Care to manage issues through to resolution.
• Ensure all contacts (calls, emails, online, social media) are recorded in the IT system.
• Provide administrative support for the Department, including reports and action logs.
• Attend internal meetings and represent the customer voice across functions.
• Order materials and liaise with Site Management and subcontractors for defect resolution.
