RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, repair vehicles on the roadside and provide prompt, reassuring service to RAC members.

You’ll work independently, prioritise safety, and contribute to a fast, reliable breakdown service that keeps motorists moving. The role includes a structured development pathway, aiming for IMI accreditation, and opportunities for overtime and career progression within the Patrol

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).

Aufgaben

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to members.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys safely.
