Overview

Home Moves Plus Officer needed in Taunton. The rate is £13.47ph PAYE. This is a temporary role. The reference number is: OR18560.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a key role in making better use of existing social housing stock across the Taunton and Wellington areas. They will support the creation of additional bed spaces through downsizing initiatives, helping to ease the impact of large-scale construction projects on local housing needs. The successful candidate will focus on reducing the number of under‑occupied households, thereby freeing up vital accommodation for those who need it most. They will ensure that tenants are not left in homes that are unaffordable or unsuitable for their changing circumstances, while also enabling housing stock to be managed effectively in line with local priorities.
