Job summary

Achieve together is seeking an experienced Care Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our care home, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards. You will lead the staff team, drive person-centred service delivery, and maintain strong links with stakeholders.

You will manage budgets, implement quality assurance policies, and deliver training and development for staff. A Level 5 health and social care qualification or willingness to complete it is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and motivating staff and managing multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in health and social care.
• Proven track record as Care/Service/Deputy/Registered Manager or equivalent.
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care (Level 5 or equivalent).
• Strong leadership and management skills with excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the service meets the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC/CIW Fundamental Standards
• Maintain high-quality service delivery
• Ensure good communication and links with all stakeholders
• Ensure service delivery is person-centered, accessible, flexible, and reliable
• Effectively manage the staff team
• Implement and maintain service delivery to meet Quality Assurance policy standards
• Carry out administrative tasks related to the role
• Oversee finances and budgeting
• Train and develop staff

Requirements:

• Ability to lead and motivate staff, delegate tasks, and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
• Proven experience as a Care Manager/Service Manager/Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must either have a level 5 or willing to complete this
