Registered Care Home Manager

Southport

£52,000 - £57,000 per annum

Full-time, Permanent

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for an opportunity where you can have a real impact on both the people you support and the team you lead?

We are recruiting for a Registered Care Home Manager to oversee a specialist service in the Southport area, supporting younger adults with mental health needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated manager who can provide strong leadership, maintain high standards of care and ensure the service continues to deliver positive outcomes for the people it supports.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, leading and developing your team while ensuring the home operates safely, effectively and in line with CQC requirements.

• Leading, motivating and supporting the care team
• Maintaining high standards of person-centred care
• Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding and Health & Safety requirements
• Overseeing care plans, audits, training and staff supervisions
• Supporting recruitment and ongoing staff development
• Managing budgets and maintaining healthy occupancy levels
• Building strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders
• Promoting continuous improvement throughout the service
• Creating a positive culture where residents and staff feel valued and supported

About You

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a care setting
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care
• Excellent leadership and people-management skills
• A confident and organised approach to managing a service
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care

Experience within mental health and/or substance misuse services would be particularly advantageous.

NMC registration as an RGN or RMN would also be desirable, but is not essential.
