Job summary

Achieve Together is seeking an experienced Care/Service Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards within our Welsh care home.

You will lead the staff team, drive person-centered care, and coordinate with regulators and stakeholders to maintain high-quality service delivery. A Level 5 (or higher) health and social care qualification is preferred or willing to complete.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a care/managerial role within health and social care.
• Knowledge of Health and Social Care Act 2008, CIW/CQC standards.
• Willingness to complete Level 5 or higher qualification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the home to ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and motivate staff; manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively.
• Maintain strong links with stakeholders and ensure person-centered service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the service meets the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC/CIW Fundamental Standards
• Maintain high-quality service delivery
• Ensure good communication and links with all stakeholders
• Ensure service delivery is person-centered, accessible, flexible, and reliable
• Effectively manage the staff team
• Implement and maintain service delivery to meet Quality Assurance policy standards
• Carry out administrative tasks related to the role
• Oversee finances and budgeting
• Train and develop staff

Requirements

• Ability to lead and motivate staff, delegate tasks, and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
• Proven experience as a Care Manager/Service Manager/Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
• Relevant qualifications in health and social care
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must either have a level 5 or willing to complete this
