Job summary

B&Q plc in Milton Keynes is looking for a Customer Advisor to become an expert guidance partner for customers and their home improvement projects. You will mix sales with service, help manage stock, set up displays, and ensure the store looks inviting for every visitor.

We value friendly, team-oriented colleagues who are eager to learn and comfortable using new technology. Weekend and bank holiday availability is expected as part of a supportive retail team.

Qualifications

• Happy to help customers and learn product ranges.
• Able to work in a rota including weekends and bank holidays.
• Keen to use new technology and adapt to store layouts.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and drive sales.
• Assist with stock management and shelf displays.
• Help set up displays and maintain store appearance.
• Support paint-mixing and timber cutting training as needed.
