Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking an Installation Specialist based in a Customer Delivery Hub to bring the John Lewis service to customers' doors. You will join a 2-person crew, install products in homes, and drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle. Role requires lifting heavy items and working on a 4-day weekly rota, 06:00–17:00.

Salary ranges from £31,000 to £41,100 annually, depending on experience, with flexible working and strong pension provision. DBS checks may be required during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual C1 driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
• DCPC or Driver Qualification Card required by day one.
• Tachograph Card.
• Experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, in person and over the phone.
• Good understanding of technology.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with excellent customer service.
• Load deliveries and work with the warehouse team.
• Install products efficiently and demonstrate operation to customers.
• Respect customers' homes and manage issues to find best solutions.
• Maintain a safe working environment and stay up to date with products.
