Job summary

John Lewis Partnership seeks an Installation Specialist to join a 2-person delivery crew, installing furniture, appliances, and electronics at customers' homes. The role is based in a Customer Delivery Hub and involves driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.

Starting salary is £32,149 per year. Schedule is 41 hours across 4 days per week with two shift patterns. Heavy lifting is required, with potential overtime and a strong pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Must have Manual C1 UK driving licence (max 6 points).
• DCPC or Driver Qualification Card by day one.
• Tachograph Card required.
• Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong verbal communication skills (phone and in person).
• Good understanding of technology.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver orders as part of a 2-person crew.
• Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with excellent customer service.
• Install products efficiently and demonstrate their use to customers.
• Keep up to date with new products and technologies to perform at your best.
• Maintain a safe working environment and handle unexpected situations.
• Assist warehouse team during loading and unloading.
