Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is recruiting Installation Specialists to join our Customer Delivery Hubs in the UK. You will work in a 2-person crew to install furniture, kitchen appliances, and tech into customers’ homes and demonstrate how each item works.

This full-time role includes heavy lifting, driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle, and flexible hours across four days per week. You’ll join a values-driven team and have access to progression opportunities within our employee-owned business.

Qualifications

• Must have manual C1 UK driving licence (max 6 points).
• DCPC or Driver Qualification Card by first day.
• Tachograph Card required.
• Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Great verbal communication skills and good understanding of technology.

Responsibilities

• Being an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with great customer service is your number one priority.
• Load up your lorry with the day's deliveries working alongside the warehouse team.
• Showing respect for the customer's home and handling situations to find the best solution for customers.
• Installing products efficiently and demonstrating how they work once installed.
• Keeping up to date with new products and technologies to perform at your best.
