Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is recruiting an Installation Specialist based in a Customer Delivery Hub. You will join a two-person delivery crew, drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle and install products at customers’ homes, from furniture to white goods and TVs.

This full-time role runs 41 hours over 4 days with two shift patterns. A UK driving licence (C1), DCPC, Tachograph Card and prior customer-facing experience are required. Attractive benefits include discounts, flexible working and pension provision.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK C1 driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Must have DCPC (Driver CPC) or Driver Qualification Card on day one.
• Tachograph Card required for role.
• Proven experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is essential.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with excellent customer service.
• Load deliveries with the warehouse team and drive the 7.5t vehicle.
• Respect customers' homes and handle issues to find solutions.
• Install products efficiently and demonstrate usage to customers.
• Keep up to date with products and technologies to perform well.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Heavy lifting is required delivering large items (sofas, white goods, beds).
