Job summary

JOHN LEWIS is seeking Installation Specialists to join our delivery hubs. You will be part of a two-person crew, driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle and installing furniture, white goods, and electronics at customers' homes. Heavy lifting is required and customer service is paramount.

Role requires manual C1 licence, DCPC, Tachograph Card and previous installation experience. Expect varied hours across six days, with early starts and evenings, while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous installation experience is required; accreditation will be provided.
• Manual C1 UK driving licence (max 6 points).
• DCPC or Driver Qualification Card required by day one.
• Tachograph Card required+.
• Experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Prior customer-facing experience is essential.
• Strong verbal communication and tech understanding.

Responsibilities

• Ambassador for the John Lewis brand with excellent customer service.
• Load deliveries with the warehouse team and drive the 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Install products efficiently and demonstrate operation to customers.
• Handle home environments with courtesy and maintain safety.
• Keep up-to-date with products and technologies to perform well.
