Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring Installation Specialists to bring our distinctive service to customers' doors, installing furniture, appliances, sound systems and TVs as part of a two-person crew.

The role requires a Manual C1 UK driving licence, CPC/Driver Qualification Card by day one, Tachograph Card, and experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle; expect heavy lifting and a 41-hour week across Mon–Sat, with early starts and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must have a Manual C1 UK driving licence with up to 6 points.
• DCPC or Driver Qualification Card required by day one.
• Tachograph Card required.
• Experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of technology.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with great customer service.
• Load deliveries and work with the warehouse team.
• Respect the customer's home and handle issues to find the best solution.
• Install products efficiently and demonstrate how they work.
• Keep up to date with new products and technologies.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Heavy lifting of large items is required.
