Job summary

Bluebird Care North Tyneside is seeking an experienced Care Supervisor to join our growing team. This office-based role spans four territories in the North East, with a focus on leadership, care planning, and ensuring high-quality homecare services.

You will oversee care management, support care assistants, and drive service quality while maintaining strong relationships with customers and families. A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care and driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience in a care setting is essential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out new customer sign-ups and risk assessments to create tailored care plans.
• Lead and support care assistants, coordinating schedules and visits.
• Manage on-call rota and respond to emergencies out of hours.
• Carry out quality reviews and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead staff and customer meetings and collaborate with health and social care professionals.
