Job summary

Bluebird Care North Tyneside is seeking an experienced Female Care Supervisor to join our office-based team in North Tyneside. You will lead the care management team across four territories, oversee care plans, and ensure high-quality service for customers in their own homes.

The role is full-time, with hours 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional outside-office hours. You will supervise care assistants, coordinate schedules, carry out risk assessments, and contribute to staff training

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
• Experience working in a care setting
• Good understanding of person-centered care and support planning
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Willingness to participate in out-of-hours on-call rota
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Carry out new customer sign-ups and risk assessments and create written care plans
• Lead and support care assistants and coordinate scheduling with coordinators
• Attend first calls and introduce care staff to customers
• Distribute, collect and monitor MAR charts and support staff training
• Manage staff changeovers and briefings for live-in care
