Job summary

Bluebird Care Southend and Rochford is looking for an experienced Care Supervisor to lead care teams across Southend, Rochford and surrounding areas. You will supervise carers, perform assessments and ensure high standards of safe, compassionate care.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in health and social care, strong leadership, and a good grasp of CQC regulations. A UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred. Competitive salary and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years' experience working in health and social care.
• Previous experience as a Care Supervisor, Field Care Supervisor, Senior Care Assistant or similar leadership role.
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations and person-centred care.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• The confidence to lead, motivate and support a team.
• The ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support our Care Assistants to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
• Carry out care assessments, customer reviews and spot checks.
• Monitor and maintain high standards of care quality and compliance.
• Support with the induction, training and ongoing development of care staff.
• Assist with care planning and risk assessments.
• Respond professionally to customer queries and concerns.
• Maintain accurate electronic care records using our care management systems.
• Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager and wider office team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Promote our values and maintain compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
