Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Care Team Leader in the North East to lead and supervise shifts, ensuring high standards of person-centred care. You will case manage residents, liaise with families and healthcare professionals, and supervise care assistants to promote independence.

The role includes medication administration, risk assessments, service development with the leadership team, and a commitment to a caring, inclusive, and professional environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in health and social care is desirable.
• Be well-organised and IT literate, able to allocate and delegate work.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise others.
• Good understanding of care planning processes.
• Willingness to undertake training on administering medication.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising your shift.
• Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
• Administering and recording medication.
• Carrying out risk assessments.
• Supporting residents with daily needs alongside care assistants.
• Working with the leadership team to develop services.
• Providing a fun, inclusive and professional approach.
