Job summary

SCA Care is seeking a motivated Registered Manager to lead the Southampton Home Care service. You will drive quality, compliance and growth with a values-led, person-centred approach.

Ideally you have domiciliary care leadership experience, strong team development skills and a passion for delivering safe, high-quality care. The role reports to the SCiA Group and offers autonomy with support to shape the service and impact the community.

Qualifications

• Domiciliary care experience
• Experience leading care teams
• Understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding
• Ability to make decisions and own a service
• Solutions-focused with prioritisation skills
• Level 5 Diploma or working towards it
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, values-driven leadership to the Southampton Home Care service.
• Lead, support and develop a motivated care and office-based team.
• Take ownership of service quality, compliance, staffing and operational performance.
• Ensure the service meets CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and quality standards.
• Drive sustainable service growth through business development and community engagement.
• Build relationships with people using the service, families, professionals and commissioners.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and lead positive change across the service.
• Participate in the on-call rota.
