Job summary

Montana Home Care is seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator in Falkirk and surrounding areas. This full-time role involves leading staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered home care, coordinating rotas, risk assessments, audits, and safety compliance.

You will supervise and develop Support Workers, liaising with social workers and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role requires SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, at least 2 years in a similar setting, and a valid UK driving license.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a social care setting is essential.
• Proven supervisory and leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and effective relationships.
• Driver with access to a vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff to deliver person-centered care to people in their own home.
• Manage day-to-day operations including staff rotas, risk assessments, audits, and safety compliance.
• Supervise, mentor and develop Support Workers, undertaking appraisals and performance management.
• Deputise for the Service Manager and liaise with social workers, families and external agencies.
