Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to provide expert mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll operate from a home base and service members in your local Bournemouth cluster area, starting and ending at home.

You’ll need an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience, plus 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with under 6 points.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• As a Roadside Technician within our Patrol division, you’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• You’ll start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making a real impact on the roadside - combining your technical expertise with outstanding member service.
