Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish your day at home, servicing members in your local area and using the RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and diagnostic kit provided to you from day one.

You’ll need either an NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, plus a full UK driving licence with

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Assist members with breakdowns and get them back on the road quickly.
• Work from home base and travel to local clusters.
