Job summary

Focus Group is seeking a networking specialist to lead technical projects for the Operations team. You will design and deliver LAN/WAN refreshes, SD-WAN rollouts, firewall and wireless deployments across Surrey, Kent, Sussex and London, working with Meraki, Aruba, Cisco, SonicWall and Ubiquiti.

You’ll be the escalation point for tricky issues, scope solutions on customer calls, and mentor other engineers while expanding into cloud migrations, server and virtualization support, and security

Qualifications

Proven experience in IT support, infrastructure or solutions delivery.
CCNA certification is required or equivalent.
Expertise in VLANs, routing/switching, firewalls, WAN/SD-WAN and wireless design.
Familiarity with Meraki, Aruba, Cisco, SonicWall or Ubiquiti.
Willingness to travel across the UK with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver network projects for customers across Surrey/Kent/Sussex and London.
Lead LAN/WAN refreshes, SD-WAN rollouts, firewall and wireless deployments.
Act as escalation point for complex issues and mentor engineers.
Contribute to cloud migrations, server/virtualisation support and security implementations.
