Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a Solutions Architect for a hands-on, field-based role across the UK. You will own design and delivery of LAN/WLAN and SD-WAN projects, primarily Meraki, with exposure to Cisco and Fortinet, and travel to client sites about 25% of the time.

The role requires strong customer-facing skills, experience in LLD/HLD design, and the ability to lead implementations end-to-end within a dynamic MSP environment.

Qualifications

• Mid-level hands-on solutions architecture or senior network engineering background.
• Strong Cisco LAN/WLAN and SD-WAN experience, Meraki-heavy (~80%).
• LLD and HLD design experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Low-Level and High-Level Designs (LLD/HLD) across customer network environments.
• Implement and support SD-WAN solutions, predominantly on Meraki, with Cisco/Fortinet exposure.
• Act as customer-facing technical lead on site visits, workshops and implementation projects nationwide.
• Travel to client sites across the UK (~25%).
• Collaborate with the senior solutions architect team on handover and delivery.
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent the business professionally.
