Job summary

Hale Nursery & Primary Academy is seeking an HLTA to support children, including those with SEND, to make progress and fulfil their potential. The role is full-time and permanent, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, 39 weeks per year including INSET days.

The successful candidate will have strong literacy and numeracy; HLTA or learning support qualifications are welcomed but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade C or equivalent.
• HLTA or learning support qualifications welcomed but not essential, or a willingness to undertake appropriate training.

Responsibilities

• Support children, including those with SEND, to make progress and fulfil their potential.
• Experience of classroom support.
• Interest in working with children, young people and their parents and carers both inside and outside the classroom.
