Job summary

Hale Nursery & Primary Academy is seeking a HLTA to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis to support teaching and learning across the early years and primary setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience of classroom support, including with SEND, and a genuine interest in outdoor learning. A high degree of initiative is required, with opportunities for training and progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in classroom support, preferably with SEND.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Willingness to undertake training and improve.
• Interest in outdoor learning and working with families.

Responsibilities

• Support children to make progress, including those with SEND.
• Assist with classroom activities and learning routines.
• Engage with parents and carers as part of the student’s development.
