Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time position in a primary school in Ely, Cardiff, Wales. The role focuses on supporting the foundation phase and covering classes to ensure consistent learning throughout the day.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a HLTA or in a similar role within a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the foundation phase curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting pupils and staff.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable.

Job Description

A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a primary school in Ely, Cardiff. This full‑time role offers an excellent opportunity to support the foundation phase of education, working closely with teachers to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. The successful HLTA will play a vital role in covering classes, leading activities, and ensuring pupils receive high‑quality support throughout the school day.
