Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly primary school team in Bedfordshire. You will work closely with teachers to lead whole-class learning, deliver targeted interventions, and support pupils with a range of abilities and needs.

The successful candidate will have HLTA status or equivalent, strong literacy and numeracy, and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead whole-class learning activities in the absence of a teacher.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities under the direction of teaching staff.
  • Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.
  • Deliver targeted intervention programmes to individuals and small groups.
  • Assist in assessing, recording, and monitoring pupil progress.
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) where required.
  • Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations of all pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support pupil achievement.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community

About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a friendly and supportive primary school team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and who can make a positive contribution to teaching and learning across the school.The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and school leaders to support high-quality learning experiences for pupils. They will be confident in leading whole-class learning, delivering targeted interventions, and supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs.

Key Responsibilities:
