Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Welsh Medium Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time, long-term role starting in September. The HLTA will support KS1 and KS2, deliver interventions, cover classes when required and work closely with teachers to ensure high standards of education in a Welsh-medium primary setting.

The candidate should have HLTA status or Level 5, be fluent in Welsh, have UK primary school experience, understand the KS1/KS2 curriculum, and demonstrate excellent

• Fluent Welsh language skills.
• Experience supporting teaching and learning in a UK primary school.
• Strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum across KS1 and KS2.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Positive, flexible and proactive approach.

We are looking to recruit a Welsh Medium Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time, long-term role starting in September. The successful Welsh Medium Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering interventions, covering classes where required and working closely with teachers to ensure pupils receive the highest standard of education.

The successful Welsh Medium Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will have:

• HLTA Status or a relevant Level 5 qualification
• Fluent Welsh language skills, both spoken and written
• Experience supporting teaching and learning within a UK primary school
• A strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum across KS1 and KS2
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, flexible and proactive approach
