Job summary

Landau is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team in Telford. The role focuses on planning, delivering and evaluating learning activities for individuals and small groups, with emphasis on learner progress and well-being.

The post is term-time, 30 hours per week, and includes safeguarding and DBS requirements. Ideal candidates will have Level 4 TA, Maths and English at level 2, and experience supporting SEND learners.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
• Maths and English at level 2 minimum (or equivalent).
• Degree qualifications or equivalent in a relevant subject are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver activities for individuals and small groups.
• Assess, record and report on development and attainment.
• Support learners' social and emotional well-being.
• Identify barriers to learning and devise strategies to help learners succeed.
• Support with portfolios, assessments and progress reviews.
• Promote good behaviour and accurate record-keeping.
