Job summary

Landau Ltd is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. This permanent, full-time on-site role offers a salary of £25,956 to £27,578.25 per year and involves supporting learners with learning activities, assessments and targeted interventions.

You will work closely with tutors to ensure learners progress and meet their development goals, while promoting safe and inclusive learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver specified learning activities to individuals and small groups under supervision.
• Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment.
• Use teaching objectives to plan, evaluate and adjust session/work plans within agreed systems of supervision.
• Support learners in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the tutor.
• Collaborate with the tutor to identify additional support and intervention activities and tailor materials to enable learners to succeed.
• Work with individuals who require targeted support to complete tasks and develop knowledge, skills and confidence.
• Assist with learner portfolios, conduct assessments and provide feedback and progress reviews.
