Job summary

Spotland Primary Academy is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support learning across key stages. The role requires HLTA status or willingness to pursue it and training in literacy strategies for KS1/KS2. You will help prepare engaging resources and assist in meeting learning objectives.

Experience creating IEPs/Behaviour Plans and adapting approaches for pupils of varying abilities is valued. You will collaborate with staff to promote inclusive learning.

Qualifications

• Awarded HLTA status or willingness to work towards.
• ,
• Training in literacy strategies e.g. KS1/KS2 approaches
• Specialist training or experience in curriculum areas (e.g., bi-lingual, sign language, ICT, SEN, foreign language, art, music, behaviour management)
• Experience preparing and delivering age-appropriate resources to engage pupils
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and Behaviour Plans
• Experience working with pupils with different abilities and adapting approaches
