• Hold relevant qualifications, including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and a HLTA qualification (or working towards).
• Have experience delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning.
• Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
• Demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills, and safeguarding commitment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with colleagues, children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning under the direction of the Headteacher, ensuring access to high-quality inclusive education.
• Deliver planned lessons and support pupils with a range of needs.
• Adapt and deliver engaging learning strategies and manage behaviour effectively.
• Maintain pupil records and contribute to classroom planning and safeguarding practices.
