Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with multiple mainstream secondary schools in Bradford to recruit an enthusiastic History Teacher for part-time, on-site positions with immediate start options.

You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, develop students’ historical knowledge and analytical skills, and tailor delivery to learners’ needs including those with SEND.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs welcome)
• Experience teaching History across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the History curriculum and GCSE requirements
• Experience adapting lessons to support students with SEND
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of mainstream secondary schools based in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a History Teacher. The schools provide a mainstream learning environment for secondary‑aged students, with a focus on delivering the curriculum and supporting learners with a range of educational needs.

The schools are looking to take on an enthusiastic History Teacher for day‑to‑day or long‑term opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful History Teacher will be delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, developing students’ historical knowledge, critical thinking and analytical skills while adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs, including those with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching History across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
