Job summary

Hampshire Cultural Trust's Historic Winchester venues are seeking a Visitor Experience Assistant to join the front-of-house team across The Great Hall, Westgate, and City Museum. You will help sell tickets, deliver tours, work in our shop and cafe, and support events and hires, ensuring exceptional visitor service.

This part-time, permanent role requires a people-focused communicator who enjoys meeting visitors daily, with weekend/evening availability.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to work weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work as part of a front-of-house team.
• Interest in history and visitor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets and deliver visitor tours across The Great Hall, Westgate and City Museum.
• Work in our shop and cafe and support events and hire activities.
• Collaborate with volunteers to ensure outstanding customer service.
• Provide a warm, welcoming experience for visitors and ensure safety.
