Job summary

Selwood in Nottingham is seeking a Hire / Sales Controller to join our pump hire team. You will be in daily contact with internal stakeholders and external clients, handling quotations, contracts, and order administration.

The role requires strong communication, IT literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook), and the ability to learn quickly. You will contribute to efficient operations across depot and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and emails, liaising with stakeholders and customers.
• Prioritise workload to meet daily customer requirements and complete paperwork.
• Ensure contracts, transport documents, and paperwork are accurately input into systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure equipment, transport and workforce coverage.
