Selwood Ltd in Nottingham is expanding its team and is looking for a Hire / Sales Controller. You will be at the heart of our pump hire branches, handling enquiries, raising quotations and contracts, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure equipment, transport and workforce coverage.

The role offers a supportive team environment, with opportunities to learn day-to-day operations and develop admin and IT skills using Excel, Word and Outlook, along with a competitive salary and benefits

Qualifications

• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships.
• Ability to prioritise workload.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proven ability of learning new skills and or products.
• A good understanding of IT systems including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• A good level of problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deal with inbound calls and emails and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to take ownership of enquiries and deal with them accordingly in a timely manner.
• Prioritise workload and ensure day-to-day customer requirements are met, with paperwork including hire/sales quotations, contracts, purchase orders, invoices and other admin tasks completed.
• Ensure contracts, transport documentation and other paperwork are accurately input and up to date on the systems.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure equipment, transport and workforce are in place to cover depot and customer requirements.
